Volunteering

We extend a warm welcome to all volunteers. The extra talents you are able to offer make an enormous difference to the lives of our animals. There are many facets to the work of the association so we hope that you will be able to find something of interest - the list below only covers a few activities so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any ideas which will help to improve the lives of our animals.

Due to Health and Safety Regulations all volunteers must complete and sign the Volunteer Form before commencing work  with the Association. One copy will be held by the Volunteer and one by the Association.

If you would prefer to complete a paper version of the form, please call and see us at the kennels.

If you feel you could donate a few hours volunteering we would love to hear from you. We need help with dog-walking, DIY, fund-raising, general help around the kennels, and help in our shops at Rhuddlan and Abergele. If you are not able to undertake any manual or strenuous work, but feel confident talking to people on the telephone you might like to spend an hour or two in the office answering the ‘phone and controlling the electric gates. If you have any ideas and would like to help please come and see us. You can be sure of a very warm welcome.

Please call in at the Rescue Centre or telephone Carol on 01745 857975
