Cleo came to us after her owner passed away and has been with us since October 2018. All the staff at the rescue adore her.
When she arrived, we noticed she had problems controlling her back legs, with some days being better than others. We rehomed her with experienced Collie owners, but it became apparent from her behaviour that her condition is getting worse. Cleo was returned and it was a sad day for us all.

Having taken her to the vets it appears that Cleo has a suspected spinal problem that means she doesn't have full control of her back legs. She desperately needs a specialist scan to accurately diagnose her condition and hopefully provide a treatment plan for her. An MRI scan alone costs anything up to £1500..... Without one, Cleo's future is unclear.

Cleo is a beautiful seven-year-old Collie who deserves to live life to the fullest and we want to give her the best opportunity to grow old with a family who love her.
We desperately need to raise funds for this treatment for Cleo and we need your help.

Please help us to help Cleo by donating however much you can

Our Animals

The object of the Association is to rescue and re-home animals in need within the area of North Wales. We provide care and accommodation for these animals and we try to find them all new homes. Those we cannot find suitable homes for become long term residents and will always have a comfortable home at the rescue centre. We also try to educate the public in the care and welfare of animals.

Six week course costs £30 to be paid in advance. Open to dogs of all ages.

Our training is outdoors so please dress accordingly

Starts again end of April 2019

Held at Abandoned Animals Association Rescue Centre,

Little Pydew, Ffordd Ffynnon, Prestatyn, LL19 8BE.

 on Sundays from 11am
