Directions from Prestatyn High Street

Follow the High Street to the top T-junction. Turn right. At the mini roundabout turn right and then take the first left (approximately 50 yards) into Fforddisa. Continue along Fforddisa and straight across the crossroads where the road becomes Ffordd Ffynnon. Continue past the houses until the road takes a sharp left hand bend. Do not take the bend but follow the lane which goes straight on. Beware of fast traffic coming off the bend. We are about 50 yards down the lane on the right hand side.

This new venture has enabled us to rescue many more animals than has been possible hitherto and we welcome any help you feel able to offer us. Whether it is dog-walking, fund-raising or  any other talent you feel would be of help, we will be really grateful

Our project will always be a work in progress, but we have nearly completed the first phase - repairs to the roof and the electrical installations are still in progress. We now have sixteen completed kennels and the eight cattery pens are finished. We will need to build up our finances before we consider expanding any further. There is enormous potential here and if you come and visit us we will be very grateful for any input. The more ideas that are contributed the better will be the final result.

Yogi is one of our long-term dogs and is desperate for a home. He is available for fostering

TILE DONATIONS

We are desperately in need of wall tiles to line the kennels. If you have at any time re-furbished your kitchen or bathroom and have some tiles left over we could make very good use of them. Colour and size unimportant.

Directions from Rhuddlan

From Rhuddlan follow signs to Meliden and Prestatyn. At the traffic lights keep on the main road then take the first turning on the left (opposite the Graig Park Resort). Then take the first right (a narrow lane. Continue to the end of the lane (a T-junction). Turn right. Follow road past farm on right and round left-hand bend. After approx. 200 yards road takes a right-hand bend. Do not take bend but turn left down private lane. We are about 50 yards down the lane on the right hand side.

A SPECIAL APPEAL

We have one or two dogs who are not thriving in the kennel environment and we would like to find temporary foster homes for them. If you have the facilities and time to spare and would like to help with this facet of our work by taking one of these dogs into your home we would love to hear from you. While in kennels many of these dogs appear to have problems but we have found that when taken into a normal home environment, and given time to find their feet, their idiosyncrasies sometimes completely vanish and they make excellent family members.
